The Pork Pie hat is characterized by a narrow, flat brim and its very characteristic crown. The crown, just like our Pork Pie Hat Bolzano, is flattened at the top and the pressing itself is oval. The origin of the Pork Pie goes back to the 19th century USA. There, famous jazz musicians wore the hat as part of their stage outfits. Then in the 1920s the hat began to spread across Europe and today it is one of the most popular hats around the world.
